Very Small Mini Album

There was a challenge on the FB group Will Craft for Supplies to make a project using nothing but scraps. The only other item that could be used was a piece of cardstock or canvas...anything to make the base of the project. Not having a lot of time to scrap, I chose to make a very small mini album using one sheet of cardstock that is scored and cut to where you can fold it into small 3" x 3" squares with a binding to make it a book. I seen the tutorial on Erica Hettwer's blog "Yes, I should be doing something else" at http://ericasdoingsomethingelse.blogspot.co.nz/2008/03/one-sheet-mini-book-tutorial.html. I used some scraps from the Colorbok Hootenany 8x8 paper pad which is very cheery and colorful. I used some Prima paper flowers and I put some pearls in the centers, a Prima flourish, and a little bird wood veneer from Studio Calico on the front of the mini. It has a ribbon to tie the album closed. The inside was kept very simple since it is so small and I needed to leave room for the pics. The mats are 2 3/4' x 2 3/4" so it does not leave a lot of room for embellies. I might add this little itty bitty mini to one of my 8x8 albums. :-)
